Pure Poison
Pure Poison by Christian Dior is the fourth scent in Dior’s popular Poison series. The original Poison is still a classic, but Pure Poison can surely hold its own. Pure is floral fragrance that is much lighter than its big sister, but still has its own character. It is able to accomplish this through using notes such as a nice blend of jasmine, orange, gardenia with traces of sandalwood, musk and amber.
Pure Poison at first spray starts out very sweet. You will notice various citrus and green notes being bounced all around you. This fragrance then begins to fade into a nice white floral, as there is gardenia, jasmine and orange blossoms. As the sweetness dissipates, what you get is a nice powder like blend which is the amber, musk and sandalwood. The fragrance is dominated by the jasmine, but it is not too overbearing. This gives the fragrance that flowery feel and essence.
Pure Poison can be considered to be a modern interpretation of the original Poison. It has its own character, while at the same time appealing to young women who want trap their prey. The scent has a mysterious sex appeal to it that gives it a nice sensuality and allure. It won’t make the woman feel extra sultry, but it is able to give character to its wearer.
Dior Pure Poison is a fragrance that can be worn in the day, but it is more recommended for nighttime wear. The fragrance lasts very long and you will continue to smell its scent all throughout the day, as there is no real need to reapply. Pure Poison offers a very intriguing sex appeal and any woman would love this. It is much more youthful than past Poisons and if you are a fan of the series, then you will definitely enjoy this.
